My painting career started in California, while working in marketing and advertising and in my
own advertising agency. Though limited in free time, I painted as much as possible, and entered
as many shows as I could, to be with other artists and stretch my wings.

While new to Maine, I’ve been entranced with the diversity and beauty of the countryside and
love to paint the changing seasons.

Though mostly self-taught, I have studied with many talented teachers…each one sharing their
experience and insight. They include:

• Barbara Bailey Porter: Landscape and portrait painter
• Camille Williams: Expressionist portrait painter
• and numerous private and group classes in MA and CA
